Once upon a time
the now
...a person went to the woods and needed some time to find some trees (it was hard finding some trees there which have the ability to listen). Though being exhausted after the long search (the searched area was ca. 3m²) the life form started reading a text. The trees - usually listening to the wind - were so moved that they wanted to give up their solid form and transform into strings. Feeling this wish, the text reader wanted to tag along...
More to this story later, let's move in time more backwards to why the man went to the woods...
the past
In this life he is a (licenced) teacher in London (you know, where also the smog resides). There's more to that subject, but ... let's continue with: he loves to make pictures (not with a camera but with a brush). And loves even more to see smiles (be it from his pupils or painting admirers, or anyone else - one should not discrimante when considering smiles)...
And... one day - it must have been 4.4.2011 (if I remember correctly) - a Brazilian (more precise: a native of São Paulo) interested in Dependable Computing visited him. He heard of his talent and wanted to order a portrait. The teacher did not have much time back then and asked for a convenient time (since the mood should be right for such a task). They agreed for the 1.1.2011 (don't panic if you notice that this date is even more in the past, more to why they slip in time later). Anyways... such an occasion should be accompanied by some good music (the painter is also a music lover). But how to select some which would be enjoyable for both parties?
They decided for: Klezmer. Then the Brazilian left through the window (he had the habbit to not take same path again). The painter was a little worried (not because of the created mess, but which path would be used next time... there are not so many open spaces in the place he is).. but anyway found the time to concentrate on his other hobby:
creating fractals with Apophysis (though it's being announced for Windows, he ran it with the nice Linux program: wine)
