why not analyze the reports

FOSS testers - any pointers?: First I wanted to give that person a cold shower (aka "negative" words), but I keep it to myself - just read the thread yourself.
Besides that two things:
- Analyze existing/duplicate reports and see, what you can learn from this analysis. It may help you get better (aka: extend your view), only if you allow it of course.
- In general: there are so many OpenSource projects. If I were you I'd select one which I personally like. Help is needed everywhere - in any form.
