is this only about music and language
From I ask questions
First I wanted to make this related to music + language only, but I think it's a little more...
my current main music genre seems to be like this:
- to summarize: Asian and/or (string) instruments, more slower music preferred (see also here)
- I noticed though in Turkish language I can pretty much listen any genre though (also pretty faster ones)
Another occasion with language was this one:
- I stressed my voice once + somehow I wanted to talk slowly again with just counting numbers
- somehow number counting would not work in English/German
- but when doing it in Turkish it just came out
- could be now because I had tried before in other languages, or perhaps it's related to the thinking part?
Anyhow: reminded me of one of the Birbal Tales, where a guy could speak many languages and to find out his native language he was disturbed in his sleep + gave a shout in his first language.
One thought was:
- that things you learned from very long time could have still an effect? Though unused the human body can reactivate those fast?
e.g. like when not doing sports a while somehow the body remembers faster + you can regain your level from back then much faster than a newcomer?
Another thought in regards to music:
- I said always when I do not understand the language of the music (so much) one can concentrate more on the music + emotions of the voice
but perhaps my liking of "slow songs" lies in this:
- if you learn a language it's better for oneself to hear things pronounced slow?
